Vintage Afternoon Tea marks opening of new Reviive Telford furniture store
A vintage afternoon tea was hosted at the new Reviive store in Trench, Telford yesterday to mark the opening of the new premises, which were officially opened by David Wright MP.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Telford & Wrekin, Leon and Barbara Murray, and other local councillors and business people, were also present to hear about the social enterprise business, which has bought many new jobs and opportunities to the area.
Reviive, which already has successful stores in Shrewsbury and Oswestry, recently opened the new store in Trench which stocks new, recycled and upcycled furniture and household goods, as well as new mattresses and flat pack furniture.
To celebrate the official opening, everyone visiting the store between Saturday 28th September and Friday 4th October will receive 20% off all purchases.
David Wright MP said of the new store: “It’s great to see a successful business like Reviive coming to Telford. Not only does it help families in the area purchase household goods at reasonable prices, it also offers fantastic opportunities for volunteers, work placements, employment and training. We wish them every success.”
Reviive has something for everyone, and offers discounts to those on benefits, and also to Wrekin Housing Trust tenants, thanks to a partnership between the two companies.
Leon Murray, Mayor of Telford & Wrekin, said: “I was thrilled to be at this event which celebrates a new business opening in Telford. I was very impressed with the variety and quality of items for sale and would encourage everyone to go along and have a look.”
