A year on and Rockspring Thursdays, facilitated by the South Shropshire Furniture Scheme at Rockspring Community Centre, Ludlow is proving to be a big hit with the local community.

SSFS are conscious that they must now build on this success and are encouraging new faces to come down and see what it’s all about.

The free sessions, available to everyone, take place every Thursday 10am – 12noon and consist of a variety of different activities and include the likes of a cookery session lead by ‘Grow, Cook, Share’, Zumba – for those seeking more of a physical thrill and employability skills workshops helping those who wish to take the first steps back towards employment.

In addition to the action packed weekly activities there is also a multi agency team present, facilitating a drop in service to help with those difficult but important questions. The team consists of members from South Shropshire Housing Association, County Training, IT Tutors and Welfare Officers.
