New partnership
The Furniture Scheme is to be further enhanced by a brand new partnership with Wrekin Housing Group.
We have recently become a partner of The Wrekin Housing Trust, Choices and Shropshire Housing Alliance.
The new partnership will bring great benefits for all partners and their existing and future customers in Shropshire and Staffordshire, including access to each other’s services and contacts, opportunity to access more funding for development, and complementary operations. This includes the further development of the Reviive business in conjunction with SHA, with the keenly anticipated launch of a new Reviive store in Telford.
Jean Jarvis, MBE, Chief Executive of SSFS said: “Our new partnership with The Wrekin Housing Trust and their partners is really exciting as it will enable us to work together to help even more people through the provision of low cost furniture, employability training, community activities and Reviive.”
Anne Ward, Chair of The Wrekin Housing Group said: “I am delighted that South Shropshire Furniture Store has decided to join the Group partnership. Its excellent range of social enterprise initiatives, together with the specialist care work of Choices, support services of SHA and the comprehensive services provided by The Wrekin Housing Trust, has created a unique business model with a multiplicity of skills that puts us in a strong position to achieve our objective to help more people throughout Shropshire and Staffordshire.”
