For the first time in over 25 years, there was a firework display on Gallows Bank.

Jubilee Fireworks, an award winning Firework Company with an international reputation, put on a spectacular display on Monday 29th October, which was enjoyed by hundreds of people.

This event was completely free to attend with free refreshments served in the Baptist Church at Rockspring Community Centre.

Revd Jon Edwards, Ludlow Baptist Church Minister said “We are hoping this is only the first year and there is no reason why we shouldn’t do an even bigger and better event next year”.

Special thanks to Ludlow butchers: Andrew Francis, DW Wall & Son and AH Griffiths for kindly supplying the sausages, Jubilee Fireworks, Trustees of Gallows Bank and all the volunteers and helpers.

The event was supported by South Shropshire Furniture Scheme, Ludlow Baptist Church, Trustees of Gallows Bank, Local Joint Committee and Shropshire Housing Association.
