Craven Arms Community Centre (CasCA)

CasCA the initials for Community arts sports Craven Arms, previously known as Craven Arms Community Centre is managed by the Furniture Scheme.

CasCA  has a wide range of facilities for you to hire. We have the Welsh Mountain (Sports Hall), the Shropshire Room which is ideal as a conference or wedding facility; the training/catering kitchen, as well as two smaller meeting rooms and a small office which is ideal for interviews or one to one consultations.

CasCA is open Monday to Wednesday from 9am to 10pm, Thursday & Friday 9am – 9pm. CasCA rooms can be hired outside these hours by prior arrangement within reason.

We have a computer suite with free access to computers (for the first 60 minutes) and unlimited free WiFi for using with your own devices available during opening hours.

The Library based at CasCA, is open Monday -Wednesday 9am – 10pm, Thursday & Friday 9am – 9pm.

Craven Arms Customer Service Point (Self Service) is accessible here Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.

Café at CasCA is open on Mondays – Fridays  10am – 2pm for hot food. Drinks and snacks are served during normal opening hours.

Community Lunch is served every Wednesday at 12.15pm – £3.50 for hot meal and slice of cake. All welcome.
Also on Wednesday – Knit & Natter which is FREE to attend and everyone is welcome 10am – 12 noon.

Promotion and Advertisement Packages at CasCA.

Parking – there is a car park on the left hand side as you come into Newington Way (opposite the Centre) and an overspill car park just around the corner of Newington Way on the right hand side, but please have consideration for residents and do not block their parking spaces. If this car park is full, please go back to the A49 turn left towards Ludlow then turn left into Corvedale Road, half way down this road is a left turn into a Council Car Park, from the back of the car park you can walk to the centre along a footpath. Hire the Centre

CasCA is a purpose built multi-use centre suitable for a range of events from community to corporate. Whatever your event, CasCA is a great place for it to happen and is easily accessible by road, rail and other public transport.

The building offers a superb range of rooms for hire which are suitable for a wide variety of users
including community groups, training providers, conference and corporate event organisers.

The Centre has FREE wifi and is fully equipped with projectors; laptops; projection screens and flip charts available on request.
